From Mika’il Tsoho, Dutse A Philanthropist and also Ambassador for Peace in Nigeria, Dr. Halima Sulaiman Zakari has commended Governor Malam Umar Namadi for his commitments toward improving the lives of Jigawa citizens.Dr Zakari made the commendation while speaking to news men, shortly after commissioning of over N120 million projects executed by her as part of social responsibility at Federal Government Collage Kiyawa (FGC), over the weekend.She explained that, for any patriotic Jigawa citizens, need to do all he can to support present administration’s transformational efforts under the leadership of Governor Namadi for making the state a giant strides.Dr. Halima who described governor Namadi as Chief servant of Jigawa people, said APC is doing very well in every sector across the 27 local government area of the state.”As a citizen of Jigawa I will do all my best to support Governor Namadi and ensure he completed his two tenure, for the benefit of Jigawa people and for the development of the state at large”, she said.While responding to questions on her aspiration to contest for Jigawa South-West Senator seat, under All Progressive Congress (APC) Ambassador Halima said “Let God judge and let us now concentrate and support his Excellency Governor to complete his two tenure”.”When you look at history of Islam, women are the people who championed the religion. So given a seat to woman in House or Senate from Jigawa will be very good for the people of Jigawa”, Dr Halima said.She then congratulated the governor for achieving a milestone in transforming the lives of Jigawa people, and urged the citizens to continue supporting the governor for better development of the state.
