The Honourable Minister of Defence *Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar CON mni,* is currently in China for the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum which starts today, Wednesday 17 September 2025 in China.
This was contained in a statement signed by Personal Assistant on media and publicity to the minister Alhaji Mati Ali and made it available to news men.
The Forum witnessed Defence and military leaders from over 100 countries, including Singapore, Nigeria, Russia, France, Vietnam and Brazil, as well as representatives from international and regional organizations from around the globe.
The theme for this year’s Forum is “Upholding International Order and Promoting Peaceful Development”.
The Forum will include 4 plenary sessions and 8 simultaneous sessions, with focuses on global security governance, Asia-Pacific security cooperation, safeguarding international order, and building regional peace.
