FGN vs. ASUU: A Battle of Minds and Might Affecting Nigeria**………………Ahmed Ilallah

Nigerians are watching this new phase of the drama between ASUU and the federal government, with expectations of university closure.

The fact is that Nigeria is in a solemn, elusive circle deterring her future.

What a country! The intellectuals and democratic leaders can’t have a synergy for a common issue.

2009-Agreement, Revitalization-Fund, and Needs-Assessment are the scandalous words that failed to be defined by the Minds and Might group.

Intellectuals and positive leaders foster a progressive and developed society, while negativity can hinder a nation’s development.

While the advanced world has shifted from traditional education to entrepreneurial education, the largest Black nation on earth is struggling to reform its traditional education system.

Are the Nigerian intellectuals and leaders serious about developing the country’s most important sector?

We have to remind ourselves that we are in the technological age, where education is more important than anything.

This should be the final battle for the combatants, one that will provide a lasting solution to unite the university system.

Political leaders must support the President in upholding his oath. The future of education is directly linked to the future of the country.
