The Jigawa State Governor Malam Umar Namadi this morning swore in three newly appointed Special Advisers at the Council Chambers of the Government House, Dutse.

Those sworn in are Alhaji Kabiru Hassan Sugungum, Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters; Ibrahim Ahmad Kwaimawa, Special Adviser on Industrial Relations; and Ado Sani Birnin Kudu, Special Adviser on Civil Service Matters.

Administering the oath of office, Governor Namadi described the occasion as an important moment in the strengthening of his administration and the advancement of Jigawa State.

“Today, we have entrusted these individuals with responsibilities that are critical to the success of our administration and the development of Jigawa State,” he said.

He said the appointees were carefully selected based on merit, integrity, experience, and proven capacity to contribute meaningfully to the implementation of government programmes and policies.

“The Special Advisers we have sworn in today are people of integrity, experience, and proven capacity. As reflected in their backgrounds and service records, they are versatile administrators and committed public servants who are well-prepared for the roles assigned to them. Each of them has been carefully selected based on merit and their ability to contribute meaningfully to the implementation of our programmes and policies.”

The governor reminded the appointees that public service is a sacred trust, stressing that the oath they had taken represents a solemn commitment before Allah and the people of Jigawa State.

“While I congratulate you on reaching this milestone, it is also important to remind you of the responsibilities that come with this office. Public service is a trust, and the oath you have taken today is a solemn commitment before Allah and the people of Jigawa State. I always feel deeply moved on occasions like this because leadership is both an honour and a heavy responsibility.”

He urged them to discharge their duties with sincerity, dedication, and humility, always placing the interest of the state above all else.

“I urge you to continue giving your best in the service of our state, as you have done over the years. Work with sincerity, dedication, and humility, and always place the interest of Jigawa State above all else. With good intentions and commitment, I am confident that Allah will guide and support you in the discharge of your duties.”

Governor Namadi expressed confidence that with excellent intentions and commitment, Allah would guide and support them in the discharge of their responsibilities.

He prayed that Almighty Allah grant the new Special Advisers wisdom, strength, and protection as they carry out their duties, while also guiding the entire administration in its collective efforts towards the progress and development of Jigawa State.

Responding on behalf of his colleagues, the Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Alhaji Kabiru Hassan Sugungum, expressed profound gratitude to the Governor for the confidence reposed in them.

He assured the governor of their absolute loyalty to his administration and the State Executive Council, pledging to contribute effectively to the successful implementation of the administration’s 12-Point Agenda in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Alhaji Sugungum said the appointees were motivated by the responsibility bestowed on them and, by the grace of Allah, would work diligently to justify the confidence reposed in them and support the governor’s vision for a greater Jigawa State.
