Some members of Jigawa Communities have commended the Actionaid Nigeria and Baba Azimi Foundation (BAF), for their effort towards mobilization of Stakeholders and ensured integration and implementation of their needs into 2025 state budget.
The commendation was made during the Inclusive Forum For Accountable Society (IFAS) quarterly and linkage with Civil Society Organizations meeting organized by Baba Azimi Foundation BAF and supported by Action aid under Local Right Program, held at New secretariat Dutse.
Speaking to news men, Malam Ladi Idris from Aigwan Karama village expressed her happiness for the deployment of Midwife staff to health facility located in their community.
“It took us long time to have Midwife staff in our health facility, but with Actionaid support we were guide and integrated with policy makers, Now Alhamdulillah we achieve this milestone” Ladi said.
Also testifying the effort of Actionaid and BAF under Local Right Program, a community member of Aigwan Iro Musa Abubakar said, with IFAS effort their dilapidated classrooms is now renovated and resulted to high enrollment of pupils in the schools.
While making her remarks, the founder of Baba Azimi Foundation (BAF) and also coordinator of Local Right Program Barrister Aisha Suleiman Jahun, appreciated the efforts of the members of Inclusive Forum For Accountable Society (IFAS) that involves both policy makers, CSOs and other actors for the success recorded.
Barrister Aisha then urged them to keep monitoring and follow up of the remaining needs to ensure it implementation for better development of Jigawa Communities.
