The Management and Staff of K.E.P Kunini Energy Co. Limited and Kunini Manor Investment Limited have congratulated Honourable Asma’u Mohammed Iganus, the Gombe State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, on her confirmation as “Gatan Marayun Gombe” by the Emir of Gombe, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, CFR.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Elison Christopher Kunini, the companies described the revered traditional title as a recognition of Asma’u Mohammed Iganus’ outstanding character, unwavering dedication to public service, and strong commitment to humanitarian service.
The statement said the honour reflects her tireless efforts in supporting women, children, orphans and other vulnerable groups, as well as her consistent drive to uplift the less privileged across communities in Gombe State.
“Your selfless contributions and humanitarian services have continued to leave positive and lasting impacts on the lives of many, further justifying the confidence and trust reposed in you by the Emirate Council and the people of Gombe,” the statement noted.
Kunini Group of Companies expressed confidence that Hon. Iganus would continue to uphold the values of integrity, unity, compassion and selfless service associated with the title.
The companies added that her role as Gatan Marayun Gombe would further promote peace, social harmony and sustainable development within the Gombe Emirate and beyond.
