PIWYODI moves to boosts Delta economy through rice Production

A non governmental organization known as Positive Impact for Women and Youth Initiative (PIWYODI) has promised to boost agricultural production for economic development in Delta state.

The promise was made by the National Coordinator of the group Mrs. Martha Onadeko when the leadership of the group paid a courtesy visit to the Senator representing Delta North Senator Ned Nwoko in his home Idumeje Uboko.

 Mrs. Onadeko, during the visit commended Senator Nwoko for his achievements and highlighted the organization’s objectives, which include rice farming.

According to her, the group currently have rice farm in ogume , Ndokwa West local government and Okpe local government, Delta state, Nigeria.

She stated that, PIWYODI intended to expand it efforts to all local government areas as plans are underway to ensure effective production that will boost the economic activities within the state and Nigeria.

 While making her remarks during the visit, the Delta State Coordinator of PIWYODI, Hon. Mary Samuel, commended the senator for bringing developmental projects to his people.

 While responding to the group, Senator Ned Nwoko appreciated the visit and expressed his commitment to supporting the Positive Impact for Women and Youth Initiative (PIWYODI). 

He commended the group’s initiative, emphasizing the significance of farming in creating job opportunities and enhancing agricultural production in the state.

Senator Nwoko then, praised the group for seeking support rather than begging, noting that their approach was commendable. 

 He further promised to ensure that this initiative cuts across all the local government and communities in Delta North.
