The Vice-Presidential Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Hon. Lawal Musa Daura, has met with supporters in Katsina State as part of efforts to strengthen the party and mobilise support ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Daura addressed supporters in Katsina, where he formally announced his decision to leave the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and join the APM.

He said his decision to participate actively in politics was motivated by his desire to contribute to the development of society and give back to the people who had supported him.

The APM chieftain also said his political activities were partly inspired by the legacy of his late father, which he pledged to uphold through service to the people.
Daura assured his supporters of his commitment to their collective aspirations, urging them to remain united, patient and steadfast.

He appreciated the supporters for their loyalty and confidence in his leadership, saying he would continue to work with them towards achieving their political objectives.

He also called for greater cooperation among party members as the APM continues to strengthen its structures and expand its support base in Katsina State.

Daura said the party remained open to individuals willing to join its fold, stressing the importance of unity and collective participation in achieving its political goals.
