President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke on his victory in the 2026 governorship election, according to Accord Party chieftain, Pelumi Olajengbesi.
Olajengbesi disclosed this while speaking with journalists at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collation centre in Osogbo after Adeleke was declared winner of the election.
He said Tinubu personally called Adeleke to congratulate him, adding that the President deserved commendation for allowing the election to take place without interference.
Meanwhile the former Vice President and presidential candidate of ADC, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar also congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election as governor of Osun state.
“I congratulate Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election as Governor of Osun State.
“His victory demonstrates the choice of the people of Osun as expressed at the ballot box. I commend the people for their passion and peaceful participation. I wish Governor Adeleke continued success as he continues to serve them.
