Katsina state governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda has assured investors of his administration’s support and encouragement for smooth operation of their business activities.
Radda a spoke this during a groundbreaking ceremony for the establishment of Proposed CNG station by a Private firm Safe Space energy limited.
He noted that investment into the state will boost economy and create employment for the Youth.
He described the establishment of the CNG station in the state as mojor steps towards addressing effect of Climate change.
According to him, katsina is leading in addressing effect of Climate change and Will support any iniative in achieving the objective.
“We appreciate you for bringing the investment into Katsina, it will go along way in helping our economy and generate employment for our youth”Radda said.
He further said”the commitment you have shown is very encouraging, we will give you all the necessary support to achieve the main target of your business”.
Radda said his administration has purchased CNG and hybrid buses for public transportation.
“The government is moving toward purchasing electric vehicles for government officials”he emphasized.
Ealier, Group Managing Director of Safe Space energy limited, Alhassan Nasir Abdullahi, said the Proposed CNG station will be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
Nazir further said the company has a plan to set CNG conversion center and electric vehicles charging point station.
He said the company resolved to invest in katsina state because of the enabling environment for business and the state is get way to Northern states.
“We are not here just for investment, we are also partners in progress aimed at bringing positive changes in katsina state”he said.
Also speaking,the Chairman of the Company, Mahammed Al hassan said the company will employ indigenes of the state for running it’s operation in the state.
