End Of Year Complement : Okun Association Visit Dutse Hospital, Donates Relief Packages

The Okun Development Association (ODA) Dutse Branch, Celebrated the season by supporting the patients with relief packages at Dutse general hospital.

Speaking during the visit, the Vice chairman of the Association, Mr Ojo Jacob Olanrewaju who lead the entire members of the association said, the visit is part of the complement of the season.

According to him, the association every year in a similar time like this, decided to support the less privilege people with prayer and a little support that can relief their pain and make them feel happiness of togetherness.

“This year we look at our community in search of needy and decided to support Children who are patients in the hospital and visit and donate a little to them.

“Okun Development Association is a part of Yoruba community living in Dutse Jigawa State, and the efforts is part of given back to community where we are living to celebrate end of the year and thanks God for keeping us peacefully”, he said.

The Vice chairman commended the present administration in the state under the leadership of Governor Malam Umar Namadi for the improvement of health sector and other relevant sectors.

He then, called for more inclusive government for the improvement of marginalize groups in the state.

While delivering his speech during the visit, the Nursing officer in the hospital Dr Nasir Auwalu appreciated the visit and urged other association to emulate the gesture.

He then commended the members of the Okun Development Association (ODA) taken their time to visit the patients at hospital adding that, the gesture will help Patients to feel happiness like every other people during the season.

Also speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Malama Binta Usman appreciated the visit, and pray for more association like Okun Development Association in the state.
