Jigawa APC Stakeholders Meets To Ensure Smooth Party Congress, Membership revalidation

The Stakeholders of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Jigawa state held a meeting with aims to improve party unity, smooth running of Party’s Congress and Membership revalidation exercise across the 27 local government areas in the state.

In a statement signed by Hajiya Zainab Shu’aibu Rabo, Senior Special Assistant on Media to Jigawa State Governor, said, the meeting held on Saturday at government house Dutse.

According to the statement, the meeting that  brought together all high-level stakeholders was headed by the Executive governor, Malam Umar A. Namadi who Commended the leadership and entire party members in the state.

The Governor also reaffirmed the party’s unity and commended its growing strength and progress as the state ranked second Nationwide in Party’s Membership revalidation exercise.

“Jigawa State currently ranks second nationwide in the APC membership revalidation exercise,”.

He then, reassured the stakeholders that the APC under his leadership remains an inclusive platform where no member would be sidelined.

The meeting brought together key elected and non-elected officials, including senators, members of the House of Representatives, members of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, commissioners, and other party leaders as well as prominent political figures, notably former Governor Ali Sa’ad Birnin Kudu and former Deputy Governor Ibrahim Hadejia.

The meeting centred on critical party matters, including the ongoing revalidation of party membership, preparations for forthcoming party congresses, and strategies to further consolidate the APC’s presence and performance in Jigawa State.
