No fewer than 1,200 categories of Youths, Orphans and Islamiyya School have received an Empowerment support From the political group known as Tinubu/Danmodi Automatic Ticket in Jigawa state.
The group under the leadership of Alhaji Adamu Alhassan Indallahi, also received over 4,500 Members of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and members of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) whom dumped their parties and joined the All Progressive Congress (APC) through the group of Tinubu/Danmodi Automatic Ticket.
Speaking during the occasion, Chairman of the group Alhaji Adamu Alhassan Indallahi announced the figure during the distribution of the empowerment on Thursday, held at Manpower Development Institute Dutse.
He explained that, this is part of their efforts to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Malam Umar Namadi’s reelection for second tenure.
“We are highly convinced with commitments of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Malam Umar Namadi towards improving the life of teeming Youths through various developmental projects executed under their leadership.
“So we formed the group Tinubu/Danmodi Automatic Ticket to replicate their efforts by mobilizing Nigerians particularly Youths and women to vote for them in the second term, ” Indallahi said.
According to him, those benefitted from the Empowerment are Orphans under Tinubu/Danmodi Automatic Ticket Charity Foundation, Youths, APC Media, Flags holders, women and Usman Bin Affan Islamiyya School in Harbo SA area of Jahun local government Jigawa State.
“As you can see the cheques of N30,000,000 was presented to beneficiaries including two million naira to some individuals, Youths groups and six million to Islamiyya School as Empowerment from Tinubu/Danmodi Automatic Ticket group”, Illallah said.
He then reassured his loyalty and support to governor Malam Umar Namadi, urging the beneficiaries to judiciously use the support.
While speaking on 4,500 decampees, Alhaji Illallahi said, the decampees are from are from NNPP and PDP whom were convinced with hardworking and generosity of Malam Umar Namadi and decided to join the APC.
He then assured equal treatment to new decampees like every other member of the All Progressive Congress APC in the state.
While delivering his speech, the Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi who was represented by State Commissioner for Basic Education Alhaji Yunusa Lawan Danzomo commended the founder of and chairman of Tinubu/Danmodi Automatic Ticket group Alhaji Adamu Alhassan Indallahi for the wonderful effort and urged other political office holders to emulate the gesture.
Also speaking on behalf of decampees, the former candidate of Miga local government chairman under the platform of NNPP Engr Balarabe Umar promised to work hard and ensure the success of Tinubu and Governor Malam Umar Namadi in the forthcoming election.
In his remarks, the Special Adviser to governor Malam Umar Namadi on Students affairs Ambassador Salisu Seeker, commended Alhaji Adamu Alhassan Indallahi for the Empowerment, describing it as major contribution towards addressing insecurity, and unemployment challenges.
