A group of women in Jigawa state, popularly know as Danmodi Mata Zalla has commended the Jigawa State Governor Malam Umar A Namadi for Women Inclusion in governance.
The commendation was made by the State coordinator Danmodi Mata Zalla Hajiya Maryam Muhammed Abubakar while delivering her speech during the reception of decampees to All Progressive Congress (APC), on Sunday at Gumel Jigawa State.
Hajiya Maryam, described Governor Danmodi’s administration as first of it’s kind in Jigawa on inclusion of women in governance to run into different political offices in the state leadership.
According to her, the present administration in Jigawa carry women along in all sectors, estimating it to 40/60 women inclusion in governance.
“We women in Jigawa state testify that the present administration under the leadership of Governor Malam Umar Namadi is women inclusive government as many women hold a political office, while others were empowered in different fields of life,” she said.
The state coordinator of Danmodi Mata Zalla then assured Jigawa State women’s commitment to reward Governor Malam Umar Namadi in the forthcoming general election.
“We the members Danmodi Mata Zalla numbering to over five thousands 5,000 promised to Mobilize over five hundred thousands votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Malam Umar Namadi in the forthcoming election, as reward to their tireless commitments towards improving the life of women and our Children in Jigawa”, Maryam said.
