Supporters of the former Chairman of Ringim Local Government Area from the All progressives Congress APC in Jigawa State have unanimously declared their unwavering loyalty and readiness to back him for any political responsibility ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The supporters, drawn from all the 10 political wards of the local government, said their decision was based on what they described as his impactful and people-oriented leadership during his tenure in office.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting in Ringim, the group highlighted his achievements in key sectors, including education, healthcare, security, agriculture, as well as women and youth empowerment.
They noted that under his leadership, the local government witnessed notable grassroots development and inclusive governance unlike what is happening presently.
According to them, his administration prioritised human capital development, strengthened community security efforts, supported farmers, and created opportunities for young people and women to thrive economically.
“We have seen his commitment, accessibility, and dedication to the welfare of our people. We believe he still has more to offer,” the supporters stated, urging him to begin preparations for a greater responsibility soon or in 2027.
They further pledged to mobilise support across the wards and beyond, assuring him of their total backing at all levels.
In his response, the former chairman expressed deep appreciation for the show of confidence and solidarity. He described the endorsement as a call to service and thanked the people of Ringim for their continued trust.
“As a servant of the people, I am humbled by this overwhelming support. I will carefully consider your call and whatever decision is taken will be guided by the collective interest and development of Ringim, Jigawa State, and Nigeria as a whole,” he said.
According to him” I listen to your call, therefore I want to give you assignment go and sit , think of what ever the position you want me to contest, Insha Allah I will abide by it and I will contest” Hon. Udi noted.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the progress and unity of the area, stressing that sustainable development and the wellbeing of the people remain his top priorities.
