Stakeholders of the Guyuk/Shelleng Federal constituency has resolved to work for the victory of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 general elections in Adamawa state.
The resolution was reached at a crucial meeting organized by an Aspirant vieing for the representative of Guyuk/Shelleng federal constituency seat, Hon Golfa Mallim and aimed at strengthening the party (APC) ahead of the forthcoming national elections.
During the meeting many longstanding members of the APC and new entrants from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) thoroughly brainstormed on harmonization strategies, fostering cooperation, and reinforcing the party’s structure across Guyuk and Shelleng local Government Areas.
Participants described the gathering as the first of its kind in Guyuk LGA, noting that it marked a significant political turning point for the constituency and demonstrated a renewed commitment to unity within the party.
Golfa Mallim reiterated her support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and pledged to mobilize grassroots support to ensure the party’s success in future elections.
Mallim stressed that already her team has launched house-to-house campaign to drive the APC e-registration exercise with a view to expanding the party’s membership base in the constituency.
She further expressed commitment to supporting the political alignment of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri with the APC, stressing that inclusiveness, unity, and collaboration would remain the guiding principles of her political engagement.
She charged all relevant key players in the area to adopt an inclusiveness at all political engagements which she emphasized would give everyone a sense of belonging and will project team work the electorate.
Most of the speakers at the dialogue expressed optimism saying that if the movement would be sustain then there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
They ventilated their candid views on how to address challenges and best approaches to inculcate for attaining victory in the contest and to ensure provision of good governance for the people in the area.
Golfa’s growing influence in the constituency has been attributed to her humanitarian efforts and community-focused projects, despite not holding any political office.
Her presence was also prominent at the grand reception organized by the APC for Governor Fintiri on Monday in Yola, the state capital which was attended by the party’s bigwigs including Vice President Kashim Shettima, National chairman of the party,Nentawe Yilwalda and several state Governors of the APC extraction.
Electorate in Guyuk–Shelleng federal constituency have commended her accessibility and responsiveness to their needs, pledging their support for both her aspiration and the APC’s victory in the 2027 general elections.
