The police has apprehended two young men over alleged murder of a 25 yr old man, Friday Isah in Mubi North local government area of Adamawa state.
Spokesman of the Adamawa state Command,SP Suleiman Nguroje dropped the hint in Yola weekend through a press release explaining that the suspected culpable homicide offense happened as a result of disagreement which led the suspects to stabbed their victim to death.
Nguroje disclosed that the suspects including Samson Elisha of Giye-digil and Ayuba Stephen of Dagala-digil.All in Mubi North council are in custody and investigation has since commenced to unravel the rationale behind the killing.
“The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two individuals in connection with the killing of a 25year-old man, Friday Isah, in Mubi North Local Government Area of the state.
“The incident occurred during a birthday party at Digil Ward, where the suspects allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife and fled the scene.
“Upon receipt of the report, operatives of the command attached to the Mubi North Divisional Headquarters promptly rushed to the scene and conveyed the victim to Medical Facility, for medical attention. Unfortunately, he was later confirmed dead by a medical doctor.
“The suspects; Samson Elisha 19years of Giye Digil, Mubi North LGA, and Ayuba Stephen of Dagala Digil 21years of Mubi North LGA, have since been arrested, while investigation is ongoing
“Commissioner of Police, πͺπ· π²ππππ πΌπππ π―πππππ, frowned at the ugly incident and directed the SCID to take over the case and ensure a diligent investigation and prosecution of the suspects.
“The Command reaffirms its commitment to ensuring justice and urges residents to remain law-abiding and promptly report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station”. The statement maintained
