The Jigawa State house of Assembly has commended Birnin Kudu local government council for orderly public expenses of the year 2026.
The commendation was made by the Chairman House Committee on Local Government, Honourable Aminu Zakari, when the committee visit the local government for a tour.
“Our committee go through the documents and visited some of the executed projects, and the committee satisfied with all public spendings, as it is attached to regulations and prudence in governance”.
According to him, the aims of the tour is to ensure that all local government spending is in line with budgetary provisions as well as financial regulations.
He maintained that, during the visit the committee inspected administrative and financial documents as well as capital projects to ensure good governance at the grass root level.
While delivering his speech, the Chairman of Birnin Kudu Local Government Council Builder Muhammad Uba, appreciated the commendation and promised to do more for the betterment of people in Birnin-Kudu local government.
He noted that the House Committee on Local Government’s annual visit has continue to sensitize and guide them in the conduct of official duties.
He restated his readiness to receive and make good use of recommendations to further strengthen the development process of the area.
