Renewed Hope : NDE inducts 64 artisans in Adamawa

The National Directorate of Employment, NDE, has conducted  a one-day special orientation for the sixty four (64) selected beneficiaries for vocational skills training in Adamawa state.

Acting State Coordinator of the NDE, Mrs Pwa’angulma Josiah Louis said at the occasion in Yola that, the training was under the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration,phase 2 aimed at boosting employment opportunities for the teeming youth in the country.

Mrs Josiah Louis remarked that the training will be on Environmental beautification training scheme and solar energy training scheme and would be for three (3) months charging beneficiaries to be good ambassadors by abiding by the rules and regulations of  respective workshops attached them to by the Directorate .

Earlier in her remarks, the Head of Department (HOD)    in charge of Special Public Works Department, SPW. Hajiya Sakina Mohammed advised the participants to be serious in learning the work diligently so that they will become employers of labour at the end of the day

Mohammed assured that the best facilitators have been engaged by the Directorate for professional put out with a view to improve employment opportunities.

Our Correspondent reported that the Ben eficiaries would be train in P.O.P marking, hard and soft landscaping, solar Energy installation and Maintenance.
