The Jigawa state Governor Malam Umar Namadi on Sunday has flag-off the construction of Tsakuwawa-Koya-Kafin Hausa feeder road.
In a statement signed by Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on media Hajiya Zainab Rabo said, the flagging of ceremony is part of the Jigawa State Government Citizen Engagement Programme (JSGCEP) tagged “Gwamnati da Jamaa” that took place in Miga Local Government area of the state.
Governor Namadi explained that, provision of infrastructural development including road network, is part of his administration’s twelve points agenda to ease transportation activities and boost the economy.
“No doubt the construction of this 30 kilometers feeder road from Tsakuwawa – Koya to Kafin-Hausa town, will ease transportation and agricultural activities, as well as boost the state economy at large”, he said.
He maintained that, the construction this 30 kilometers feeder road (Tsakuwawa to Kafin-Hausa) reach 45 percent in completion, and is expected to be completed within 18 months.
The Governor, assured more commitments to serve the citizens through execution of more developmental projects for better Jigawa state.
He then called for more support and cooperation to his administration for more dividends of democracy under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and All Progressive Congress (APC).
