The Executive Chairman of Gombe South Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Auwalu Bappi, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening unity, grassroots mobilisation and stakeholder engagement within the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Bappi made the commitment when he attended an APC stakeholders’ meeting for Gombe Local Government Area held at Custodian Hotel in Gombe.

The meeting brought together party leaders, stakeholders and supporters to deliberate on strategies for strengthening internal cohesion and mobilising support for the party ahead of the 2027 elections.

Speaking at the meeting, Bappi commended the developmental initiatives of the Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, and expressed confidence in the APC governorship candidate, Dr Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna, popularly known as Sardaunan Gombe.

He urged party members and stakeholders to remain united, saying effective collaboration and sustained engagement at the grassroots would be critical to the party’s success in the 2027 elections.

The chairman also pledged his continued support for the party’s programmes and objectives, stressing the need for collective efforts to promote peace, development and political stability in the state.

Bappi was accompanied to the meeting by his deputy, Hon. Boderi, as well as Alhaji Abubakar Umar, popularly known as Majidadin Gabukka, and other party leaders and stakeholders.

The stakeholders meeting was part of ongoing efforts by the APC to strengthen its structures and consolidate support across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
