The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Governorship Candidate in Jigawa State, Senator Sabo Mohammed Nakudu, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the party’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, following the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs Mary Amaechi, who died peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the age of 89.
This was contained in a statement signed by Alhaji Mati Aliyu and made it available to news men in Dutse the state capital of Jigawa State.
The statement said, Senator Nakudu described the late Mrs Amaechi as a virtuous matriarch, respected community leader and devoted Christian whose life embodied faith, compassion and selfless service. He noted that her enduring legacy of love, unity and integrity would continue to inspire generations.
The ADC governorship flag bearer prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked Almighty God to grant Mr Amaechi, the Amaechi family and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
