As part of preparation to ensure a peaceful Sallah celebration, the Jigawa State Hisba Board has promised to do all it’s best and provide peaceful environment for 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

The statement said, the Commander General of the board, Dr. Muhammad Fa’iz has approved the deployment of Hisba personnel to various Eid-el-Kabir prayer grounds across the state to ensure peaceful coordination of Sallah prayers and other related activities during the festive period.
According to Dr. Fa’iz, Dutse, the state capital, will receive 60 vigilant Hisba personnel, while each Emirate Headquarters will be allocated 40 personnel to maintain order and support security operations during the celebrations.
He further stated that all the 27 Local Government Areas of Jigawa State will each have 20 Hisba personnel deployed to supervise and coordinate activities at the Eid-el-Kabir prayer grounds.
The Commander General called on the Muslim Ummah to remain law-abiding, peaceful, and obedient throughout the Sallah celebrations. He also prayed for Allah’s protection, guidance, and blessings upon the people, especially in view of the current economic and security challenges facing the nation.
