The Speaker Jigawa State House of Assembly Rt honourable Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin together with other principals officers in the house have won the All progressive Congress (APC)’s primary election in their respective constituencies.
The lawmakers retained their tickets after consensus primary election across the 30 constituencies of the state held on Wednesday.
The primaries was conducted peacefully as over 80 percent of the party candidate emerged through consensus.
The affirmation of the state speaker Rt Hon Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin held at Migaa local government headquarters with security agencies APC national headquater delegates, journalist INEC official among the witness.
Speaking shortly after his affirmation Rt Hon Dangyatin promised to continue pursuing for the projects programs and laws that will improved the social and economic life of his constituency and Jigawa state people at large.
He however promised to continue proving cordial relationship between legislative and executives for the successfully implementation g Governor Namadi 12 point agenda that have been yielding fruitful result in the last three years.
“We will continue to support our leader Hos Excellency governor Malam Umar Namadi is transformational agenda designed to take jigawa state prosperous and great”
I thanks all the pAPC stakeholders in my constituency who have shown their confidence in me aby el approving for to also stand as party Flagg bears for the next coming 2027 general election”.
Im his reaction on the outcome of state Assembly primary election , the state chairman of APC Hon Ahmed Mailing MK said, the exercise which was third phase of the process was conducted very successfully as the previous one of the National Assemblies.
He noted that, every primary election conducted is regards as a yardstick that strengthen their confidence in delivering Jigawa state to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and also wining all the seat to be contested in the next coming 2027 general election.
Hon MK than thanks the APC primary election committee sent from their national headquarters, the state governor Malm at Namadi and all APC stakeholders and members that contributed in different capacity for the success of the exercise
