Northwest governors In Jigawa, As First Lady Commissions Academy, Clinic, Emir ‘s Palace, Roads

The Northwest governors accompanied the first Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Remi Bola Ahmed Tinubu as she commissioned various projects in Jigawa state including Modern Clinic and Academy build and equipped by Futuremap Foundation in Hadejia.

The two projects ( Bola Ahmed Tinubu Future Academy and the Senator Oluremi Tinubu Clinic, Hadejia.) was Facilitated by Director General of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Alhaji Kashifu Inuwa aimed to bridge the gap between advanced digital innovation and critical community healthcare.

Senator Remi who was accompanied by the Northwest governors, governor’s wives, also launched National Community Food Bank Programme and commissioned new Hadejia Emirate Palace constructed by the present administration of Jigawa State.

She commended Jigawa State government and FutureMap foundation for the provision of basic needs like Clinic and Academy to the people, and by honoring her and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by naming the projects after them.

The first Lady also promised more commitment from Federal government to tackle hunger, malnutrition and improve the life of Nigeria’s citizens.

While delivering his speech, the DG NITDA Alhaji Kashifu said, the facilities is designed as an integrated ecosystem, these facilities bridge the gap between advanced digital innovation and critical community healthcare.

“The Academy is a comprehensive, sustainability-integrated institution designed to translate technical knowledge into viable economic value and community solutions. The campus features specialized zones tailored for different stages of the innovation lifecycle.

” The Academy is equipped with Fabrication Laboratory (FabLab) & Maker Space, Advanced Prosthetics, the Innovation Lab (Co-Working Space),The Pitch Space,Training Classes & CBT Centre, and  Theatre / Auditorium”.

He explained that, while the Senator Oluremi Tinubu Clinic will serves as both a primary healthcare provider and a practical deployment ground for the Health-Tech solutions developed in the FabLab. It is designed to bring critical, life-saving services closer to the people.

“Equipped with Dedicated Dialysis Centre, Standard Operating Theatre,

Labour and Maternity Room, Integrated Oxygen Supply, Sustainable Power Infrastructure”, he said.
