Comrade Shu’aibu Musa Kafin-gana from Jigawa State has been elected as Lead Partnership and Collaboration of Civil Society Scaling-Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN).
He emerged during the 10th Annual general meeting of the CS-SUNN Steering Committee election alongside other six officials, held on Wednesday at Silver Green Suite Hotel in Abuja.
Comrade Kafin-gana also honoured with award of excellence in promoting Nutrition issues across 27 local government areas of Jigawa State.
The officials were elected after duly security using election guidelines, use of physical secret ballot and online voting system.
The elected officials would serve for three years tenure from 22nd April,2026 to 22nd April,2029.
The new executives are expected to during their three years tenure to bring more innovation and tactics to achieve the targeted objectives in promoting Nutrition issues in Nigeria.
Before his election as lead partnership and Collaboration of Civil Society Scaling-Up Nutrition, Kafin-gana as a versatile Civil Society Activist served in different capacities including chairman Jigawa Social Protection Platform (JISOP), chairman of Jigawa Coalition of Civil Society on Nutrition (JICON), Chairman JiPERCO among many other positions.
