The District Head of Reme in Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe State has conferred the prestigious traditional title of Sardaunan Matasan Reme on prominent youth leader and politician, Dr Dunijir Gatama, in recognition of his contributions to youth empowerment and community development.
The conferment, which has been widely celebrated across the community, is seen as a testament to Dr Gatama’s commitment to public service and his unwavering support for young people in the area.
Residents, associates and admirers of the recipient described the honour as well deserved, citing his longstanding efforts in mentoring youths, promoting education, encouraging entrepreneurship and supporting initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of communities.
Many of those who congratulated him noted that Dr Gatama has distinguished himself through his humility, accessibility and dedication to addressing the concerns of ordinary citizens.
